Overview
CJKI’s Database of Chinese Full Names (CFN) covers over four million Chinese full names. These are names of real people, not generated by algorithms. Phonological data such as pinyin or zhuyin are available, as well as English equivalents. In addition, the full names are segmented, making it explicit which part is the surname and which the given name.
